Growing up in Springfield and East Longmeadow, I feel blessed that I've had the opportunity to grow up in Western Massachusetts and enjoy everything the area has to offer. After graduating dental school in 2013, I returned to the Springfield area and have been practicing here since. I am so excited to bring the latest the dental field has to offer to my patients in Western Massachusetts. The blend of modern dental techniques and technology coupled with my father's 40+ years of experience allows a unique treatment opportunity for all of our patients.

Despite having a father in the field, dentistry found me in its own way. I experienced numerous  broken teeth and root canals from competitive ice hockey which certainly piqued my interest. As a kid, I was also always drawn to any activities which involved using my hands.

After graduating from ELHS in 2005, I continued my studies at UMASS Amherst Commonwealth Honors College with dual majors in Math and Chemistry. I immediately shipped out to Boston to attend BU Dental for four more years. Throughout my education, I kept myself involved with men's league and intramural hockey leagues, constantly tinkering and riding my bikes, all while having my loving wife for support.

Best advice I'd give someone joining Nardi Family Dental:  We're all about providing a judgment free zone, so don't be surprised if coming to the dentist becomes your new favorite thing. I grew up in East Longmeadow, MA and graduated from ELHS in 2010. I attended Boston College where I majored in Biochemistry and am still an avid college hockey fan. During my time at BC, I knew I wanted to pursue medicine or dentistry, but it was until I broke my jaw (not in a fight!) that I found dentistry was the right choice for me. I saw firsthand the marriage of science and technology working together to diagnose and treat conditions, which is one of the things I love most about my profession today.

I attended Boston University Dental School (DMD) on an academic scholarship and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa National Honor Society my fourth year. I continue to pursue high-level continuing education courses in helping provide the best evidenced based care I can - something my brother and I are passionate about. We literally grew up in our dad's dental office but never felt pressure to pursue what our father did. Our father continues to be an inspiring mentor and role model in our practice.

Outside the office, I enjoy watching all sports, especially baseball and football. My wife Marisa and I also love spending our time traveling or just relaxing with our friends and family at the Cape.

Our hygiene team at Nardi Family Dental has talented, dedicated, and highly skilled hygienists. Our hygienists are experts at providing oral hygiene and provide much more than clean teeth. They provide detailed instructions and education individualized for patients regarding proper dental hygiene in a cordial and compassionate way.

A routine checkup normally consists of a review of medical and oral health history to begin. After removing plaque, flossing, and polishing patients' teeth, they will help teach the correct techniques for brushing and flossing. Due to their excellent work, we have patients coming regularly for their cleanings every three to six months.

Our dental assistants are specially trained to provide expert-level assistance to our doctors and hygienists. They take our X-rays and help the crucial process of sterilizing our dental instruments to prevent infection during treatments. They're valuable in increasing our office efficiency and are very knowledgeable to provide after care instructions to patients. They can answer many of our patients' questions and are always willing to help.
